Kent Logs provides a professional operated Bobcat E10z mini excavator service for domestic, commercial and land-management projects throughout Kent. The E10z is an exceptionally compact zero-tail-swing excavator. With its undercarriage retracted, the machine is approximately 710 mm wide, allowing access through many standard gateways and narrow openings where conventional excavators cannot work. Once in the working area, the tracks can be expanded for improved stability.
The compact dimensions of the E10z make it particularly useful for rear gardens, narrow side access, courtyards, between buildings, along fence lines, restricted commercial sites and other areas where larger excavators cannot gain access.
With a wide selection of buckets, the E10z can undertake general excavation, small foundation excavation, trenches, soakaways, drainage, soil removal, backfilling, landscaping excavations, planting areas, ground reduction and site preparation.
Our specialist cable-laying bucket allows clean, narrow trenches to be excavated while minimising unnecessary ground disturbance. Applications include electrical cable ducts, armoured cables, garden lighting, water pipes, irrigation systems, data and communications ducts, drainage and other underground services.
Fitted with our excavator rake, the E10z can clear brambles and scrub, gather roots and woody debris, collect branches and brash, rake previously cleared ground, separate vegetation from loose soil and prepare sites for landscaping.
Our hydraulic flail attachment is suitable for cutting brambles, nettles, long grass, weeds, light scrub and overgrown vegetation. Combining the flail with the excavator rake allows vegetation to be cut and cleared using the same compact machine.
The hydraulic breaker can be used for suitable concrete paths, small slabs, old bases, hardstanding, small foundations, masonry, hard ground and light demolition. The breaker can then be exchanged for a bucket so excavation and site preparation can continue with the same machine.
The E10z is ideal for garden reconstruction and landscaping, including patio and path preparation, pond excavation, planting areas, raised beds, removing unwanted soil, ground reduction, drainage, levelling, preparing areas for turf and general landscaping.
Using grading buckets and the dozer blade, the excavator can level soil, spread material, backfill, grade surfaces, prepare areas for landscaping and carry out reinstatement and site tidy-up work.
The Bobcat E10z is supplied as an operated service. This provides the benefit of an experienced operator who understands the capabilities and limitations of the machine and can select the most appropriate attachment for the work. A safety person can also accompany the machine where required.
